Hydroponics

GroZilla
GroZilla is our cutting-edge, hydroponic farming system housed in shipping containers. This innovative growing method produces over 300 heads of lettuce per week and other leafy greens. Learn more about how GroZilla is revolutionizing local food production and providing new opportunities for education and training in urban agriculture.
TapKit
The TAPkit is a 5,700-square-foot, climate-controlled “farm in a box” powered by a hydroponic NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) growing system. Using state-of-the-art Israeli agricultural technology, it is engineered to grow premium leafy greens and herbs year-round with remarkable efficiency and minimal environmental impact.

Made possible through the generous support of Kosmos Energy, the TAPkit not only functions as a productive commercial farm at Restorative Farms but also as the cornerstone of the Kosmos TAPkit Internship and Fellowship Program — a workforce development initiative preparing the next generation of leaders in Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA). This program provides students with immersive, hands-on training in CEA, leadership development, and the core principles of regenerative food systems.
Clean, Local, Sustainable
Designed and programmed to be replicated across the DFW and Arlington region, the TAPkit model offers a scalable pathway toward building a sustainable, hyperlocal food economy. Together, Restorative Farms and Kosmos Energy are cultivating a powerful intersection of food, education, and opportunity—one TAPkit farm at a time.
