Future Urban Farmers (FUF)

Our Future Urban Farmers (FUF) program is designed to equip community members with the hands-on training they need to enter the world of sustainable agriculture. This vocational program offers participants a chance to work across various roles, including farm fieldwork, seedling production, greenhouse management, and market sales.

By the end of 2024, we will have provided over 36,500 hours of training since the program's launch in 2020, all while paying participants a living wage. The program’s graduates have gone on to pursue careers in agriculture, including managing farms and enrolling in degree programs for sustainable agriculture. Our goal is to help participants transition into long-term careers, breaking the cycle of poverty through skills-based employment.
